From ASTHO:

Grounding Leadership and Engagement in Psychological Safety to Promote a Culture of Equity

Virtual Wednesday, September 18, 2024 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM Eastern Standard Time

The Strategies to Repair Equity and Transform Community Health (STRETCH) 2.0 initiative is proud to present its third national convening! Co-developed and hosted by the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), the CDC Foundation, and the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI) as partners in STRETCH, this 90-minute virtual convening will include an interactive presentation by Alicia D. Justice, DrPH, MPH, that focuses on psychological safety and how this occupational practice supports an equitable workplace. Participants will leave with an enhanced understanding of how to promote a psychologically safe work environment and ultimately, operationalize a culture of equity.

This event is free and open to all those who are interested in developing a deeper understanding of psychological safety, learning about best practices, and gaining a network of health equity practitioners to share experiences and lessons learned. Join us virtually on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. ET.

Want to connect with health equity practitioners before and/or after this event? Consider joining the STRETCH Network of Health Equity Practitioners online community!
