Health Education & Behavior releases first issue of year!

A new edition of Health Education & Behavior has been released and is now available! The SOPHE journal kicks off its 51st volume year by exploring COVID-19, Tobacco Use, Youth Health, and Health Promotion for Men to educate the population and broaden the horizon for future public health professionals. Additionally, there are numerous open access articles available for public use, including the following:

Smoking Cessation Counseling in Practice: A Qualitative Analysis of Quitline Conversations in Queensland, Australia is aimed to independently explore conversation themes, topics and client questions during Quitline counseling sessions in Queensland, Australia. Understanding this aspect can help improve current practices and inform future interventions.
Integrated Theory-Based Health and Development Interventions for Young People: A Global Scoping Review, focuses on identifying and describing a range of theory-based, multi-behavioral health interventions aiming at improving two or more of the following behavioral youth outcomes: (1) sexual and reproductive health; (2) education and employment; (3) violence; (4) substance use.

Health Education & Behavior is a peer-reviewed bi-monthly journal that provides empirical research, case studies, program evaluations, literature reviews, and discussions of theories of health behavior and health status, as well as strategies to improve social and behavioral health.
