The places where we live, learn, work, and play shape us and our health. Experiences of trauma and discrimination, poor access to health services, and financial strain contribute to rising rates of poor mental health outcomes. This webinar focuses on the mutual relationship between income and mental health. It brings together individuals to discuss the role of income in shaping mental helath outcomes, including for people with serious mental illness, and strategies to reduce poverty and improve mental health.

During this webinar, the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP), a national anti-poverty nonprofit, will discuss the mental health drivers of young people from marginalized communities and identities and strategies for reducing poverty and improving mental health. After the presentation by CLASP, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and share information about their experiences and efforts. Join this opportunity to connect with others working on improving mental health outcomes and reducing poverty.
