The Silicon Valley Black Family Day is presented by a coalition of African and African Ancestry community-based organizations in Santa Clara County under the umbrella of the Silicon Valley Black Leadership Kitchen Cabinet in partnership with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department. Produced by Silicon Valley African Film Festival, Black Family Day is the culminating event of all Black History Month programs and activities in Santa Clara County.

This year’s program will be held as a free community outdoor event from 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Parque de Los Pobladores (South First Street between William and Reed Streets) in Downtown San Jose. This year’s event includes community engagement activities, a play area, vendors, and cultural performances. Over 500 people are expected to attend, and 50 resource booths will be on display. We are seeking volunteers to help support this event, if you and/or your organization would like to volunteer, please fill out the volunteer interest form below.
